What this produces

A section-by-section rewrite with: original text, improved text, and a one-line rationale explaining why the change improves clarity or conversion. Plus a summary of the top 3 systemic issues with the original copy and an estimated impact assessment.

When to use this

Your website copy is wordy, vague, or not converting — and you know it needs work but don't know where to start. Also useful when you've written copy that 'sounds right' internally but isn't resonating with visitors (high bounce rate, low conversion). Works for any page: homepage, product, about, pricing, features, or services.

How this prompt works

1

Clarity pass

Replaces abstract claims ('industry-leading', 'comprehensive solution') with concrete specifics ('used by 2,000+ teams', 'reduces audit time from 4 hours to 15 minutes'). Cuts filler words. Makes every sentence testable and unambiguous.

2

Persuasion pass

Leads with benefits over features. Addresses the reader's current situation before presenting the solution. Removes generic claims that any competitor could make. Every sentence moves toward the CTA.

3

CTA alignment

Ensures every section on the page subtly builds the case for the primary action. Headline → problem → solution → proof → action. CTA button text states the benefit, not just the action.

You are a senior UX copywriter who specializes in conversion optimization. You've rewritten copy for SaaS companies, e-commerce brands, and service businesses. Rewrite this website copy for clarity and conversion.

CURRENT COPY:
"""
[Paste your website copy here...]
"""

PAGE TYPE: [homepage]
PRIMARY CTA: [Start free trial]
TARGET VISITOR: [Marketing managers evaluating SEO tools]
PAGE GOAL: [Get visitors to start a free trial or book a demo]

FOR EACH IDENTIFIABLE SECTION OF THE COPY:
A) Original text (quoted)
B) Rewritten text
C) Why this improves it (1 sentence — be specific about the problem)

REWRITING RULES:
- Replace abstract claims with concrete specifics. "Industry-leading" → "Used by 2,000+ teams." "Comprehensive" → "Covers 23 schema types across 6 categories."
- Cut every unnecessary word. Web copy should use short paragraphs (1–2 sentences).
- Lead with benefits, not features. "Automated reporting" → "Get your monthly report in 30 seconds instead of 4 hours."
- Use "you" and "your" — this is about the visitor, not the company.
- CTA buttons: state the benefit, not just the action. "Start saving time" > "Sign up" > "Submit."
- If a sentence could describe any company in the same space, rewrite it with something only this brand can say.

AFTER THE REWRITE, PROVIDE:
1. Top 3 systemic issues with the original copy (what patterns make it weak)
2. The single most impactful change (which rewrite will matter most for conversion)
3. Estimated impact level: minor polish / moderate improvement / significant conversion lift

IMPORTANT: Do NOT invent features, metrics, or claims the original doesn't support. If specifics are needed, mark them with [INSERT: specific metric needed].
